Chap. XLVII.— An Act for the Relief of David D. Porter.May 9, 1860. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the proper accounting officers of the treasury be, and they are hereby, directed to pay to David D.$748 to be paid David D. Porter. Porter, a lieutenant in the navy of the United States, the sum of seven hundred and forty-three dollars, for certain extraordinary expenses incurred by him in the discharge of his duty, under the orders of the Navy Department, on special service to the island of St.
Domingo; and that the same be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, May 9, 1860.
