Chap. XCVII.— An Act for the Relief of the Widow and other Heirs of William Higgins, deceased.June 9, 1860. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to cancel bounty landBounty land-warrant to issue to William Higgins. warrant number thirty-one thousand four hundred and seventy-four, issued on the tenth day of July, eighteen hundred and fifty-six, to William Higginson, for services rendered as a seaman in the United States navy during the war with Mexico, and to reissue the same to William Higgins, the real party for whom the bounty was intended.
