Chap. VII.— An Act for the Relief of Mrs. Eliza A. Merchant, Widow of the late First Lieutenant and Brevet Captain Charles G. Merchant, of the United States Army.January 5, 1861. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the InteriorLife pension to Eliza A. Merchant. be, and he is hereby, directed to place the name of Eliza A. Merchant on the pension list, at the rate of fifteen dollars per month, to commence on the fourth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and sixty, and continue during her life. Approved, January 5, 1861.
