Chap. CXCVIII.— An Act for the Relief of Lieutenant William A. Winder, of the United States Army.June 22, 1860. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the proper accounting officers of the treasury be, and they are hereby authorized and directed toA credit to be allowed in account of William A. Winder. credit the account of Lieutenant William A. Winder, of the United States army, with the sum of one hundred dollars, it being the amount he had in his possession on board of the steamer San Francisco, in the month of December, eighteen hundred and fifty-three, when said steamer was lost, together with that amount of money, and which now stands charged against the said Lieutenant William A.
Winder, upon the books of the treasury, it having belonged to the recruiting fund of the United States army. Approved, June 22, 1860.
