Chap. CV.— An Act for the Relief of Gotlieb Scheerer.June 9, 1860. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That Gotlieb Scheerer be, and hereby is, acquitted and released from the payment of a certain judgmentJudgment against Gotheb Scheerer released. rendered against him in favor of the United States in the district court of the United States for the eastern district of Pennsylvania, in the month of June, Anno Domini eighteen hundred and fifty-seven, on a recognizance entered into by him for the appearance of one Joseph Hill, on the payment of the costs of the suit in which said judgment was rendered.
