XXXIX.— An Act *for the Relief of John Mitchell, of the District of Columbia.* Feb. 7, 1857. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the John Mitchell to be placed on the pension roll at $30 per month instead of $20. 1848, ch. 51. 1850, ch. 42. Vol. ix. pp. 716, 801.Interior is hereby directed to place the name of John Mitchell on the pension roll, at the rate of thirty dollars per month, instead of twenty dollars, as per act of Congress, May fifteen, eighteen hundred and fifty.
