Chap. XIV.— An Act *for the Relief of Charles L. Denman.* Jan. 17, 1857. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Treasury be and he is hereby authorized to pay to Charles L. Denman the sum of two hundred dollars, the same to be in full consideration of a $200 to be paid to Charles L. Denman.like sum by him advanced to the Pacific Mail Company for the passage of two American citizens from Acapulco, in Mexico, to San Francisco, California, and to be paid out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, January 17, 1857.
