Chap. LXXV.— An Act *for the Relief of George Schellinger.* March 2, 1857. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the $284.25 to be paid to George Schellinger.Treasury be and he is hereby required to pay George Schellinger, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of two hundred and eighty-four dollars and twenty-five cents, in full, for damages sustained by him by reason of destruction of property by the army of the United States during the Black Hawk war. Approved, March 2, 1857.
