Chap. LXVIII.— An Act *for the Relief of Brevet Major James L. Donaldson, Assistant Quartermaster, United States Army.* June 1, 1858. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the proper accounting $400 to be credited Brevet Major James L. Donaldson in settlement, being public funds stolen from him.officers of the Treasury Department be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed, in settling the accounts of Brevet Major James L.
Donaldson, to allow him a credit for the sum of four hundred dollars, being the amount of public funds stolen while in his possession as acting assistant quartermaster of the army, near Monterey, in Mexico, on the tenth of October, eighteen hundred and forty-six. Approved, June 1, 1858.
