LIV.— An Act *for the Relief of Pierre Gagnon, of Natchitoches, Louisiana.* May 24, 1858. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That Pierre Gagnon be allowed Pierre Gagnon may enter and pay for his preemption claim.to enter and pay for his preemption claim to the northeast and southeast fractional quarters of section number seven, in township number nine THIRTY-FIFTH CONGRESS. Sess. I. Ch. 55, 56, 57, 60. 1858. 533north, of range number six west, containing about one hundred and eighty-nine acres, in the land-office at Natchitoches, Louisiana, and that a patent issue therefor as in ordinary cases: *Provided, however,* That [neither] Proviso.this right of entry, nor any patent issued under it, shall prejudice any valid adverse claim, should such exist.
