Chap. LIII.— An Act *granting an Invalid Pension to John Lee, of the State of Maine.* Feb. 23, 1859. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the name of John Lee be John Lee to have pension at $8 a month from Dec. 22, 1857.placed upon the pension list of the United States, at the rate of eight dollars per month, from the twenty-second of December, eighteen hundred and fifty-seven. Sec. 2. *And be it further enacted,* That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay the said John Lee the said sum of eight dollars per month, to be estimated and computed from and after December twenty-second, eighteen hundred and fifty-seven, and to continue during life.
