Chap. CXX.— An Act providing for the Construction of a Military Road between Fort Steilacoom and Bellingham Bay, in the Territory of Washington. March 3, 1857. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the sum of thirty-five Appropriation for a military road in Washington Territory.thousand dollars be and the same is hereby appropriated, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the purpose of constructing a military road between Fort Steilacoom and Bellingham Bay, in the Territory of Washington; the said road to be constructed under the direction of the Secretary of War, pursuant to contracts to be made by him.
