Chap. CXLVIII.— An Act *for the Benefit of John W. Cox.* March 3, 1857. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Interior John W. Cox to be placed on the pension roll at $8 per month, from Jan. 1, 1860, for life.be directed to place the name of John W. Cox, of the State of Kentucky, upon the roll of invalid pensioners, and pay to him from the first of January, eighteen hundred and fifty-six, eight dollars per month during his natural life, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated. Approved, March 3, 1857.
