CLXXIV.— An Act *for the Relief of Shadrach Rice, of Jackson County, Virginia.* March 3, 1857. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Slates of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Interior Shadrach Rice to be placed on the pension roil at $8 per month from Oct. 15, 1855, for life.be directed to place the name of Shadrach Rice, of Jackson County, Virginia, upon the roll of invalid pensioners, and to cause to be paid to him the sura of eight dollars per month during the term of his natural life; the payment of said sum to commence October fifteen, eighteen hundred and fifty-five.
