Chap. CLIII.— An Act *for the Relief of Joseph M. Kennedy.* March 3, 1857. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United Stales of America in Congress assembled,* That the sum of three hundred $362.60 to be paid to Joseph M. Kennedy.and sixty-two dollars and sixty cents be paid to Joseph M. Kennedy, marshal of the United States for the eastern district of Louisiana, for the repairs of furniture and the furniture supplied for the court-room and offices of the United States court for the eastern district of Louisiana, rendered necessary in consequence of the removal of the said court from the municipal hall of the first district of New Orleans: *Provided,* That the vouchers therefor shall be submitted to the Secretary of the Interior, and the expenditure be approved by him.
