Chap. CII.— An Act *for the Relief of Simeon Stedman.* June 5, 1858. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of War be, and hereby is, directed to instruct the proper disbursing officer to pay to Simeon Stedman, who served in Captain Christopher Ripley’s company Simeon Stedman to be paid for services in the war of 1812.of the thirty-seventh infantry during the war with Great Britain in eighteen hundred and twelve, such sum or sums as may have accrued to him from the time of his last receiving payment for services till the end of the war; and that said payment shall be made out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
