Chap. XXX.— An Act for the Relief of Purser Francis B. Stockton. Jan. 12, 1855. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the proper accounting officers of the treasury be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to pay to Francis B. Stockton, a purser in the United States navy, outF. B. Stockton to be paid $67.57 in full of all claims. of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of sixty-seven dollars and fifty-seven cents, being the amount of loss sustained by him by reason of making his deposits of public money in 840 THIRTY-THIRD CONGRESS.
Sess. II. Ch. 31, 32, 33, 34. 1855. the Phoenix Bank, Charlestown, Massachusetts: Provided, That the said sum shall be received in full of all demands against the government on this account. Approved, January 12, 1855.
