Chap. XXIV.— An Act for the Relief of Herman Chittenden. Jan. 3, 1855. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * Herman Chittenden to be placed on pension roll for life, at $8 per month, from March 1, 1854. That the Secretary of the Interior be, and is hereby, required to place the name of Herman Chittenden upon the pension roll, and cause to be paid to him the sum of eight dollars per month so long as he shall live, commencing March first, eighteen hundred and fifty-four. Approved, January 3, 1855.
