Chap. XLIX.— An Act *for the Relief of Mary Deany, Widow of the late Lieutenant James A. Deany, of the United States Army.* April 20, 1854. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Mary Deany placed on pension rolls for 10 years, at $15 per month, from January 1, 1853. Proviso.Interior be, and he is hereby, required to place the name of the said Mary Deany upon the pension rolls, and cause to be paid to her the sum of fifteen dollars per month, for the term of ten years, commencing January first, Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and fifty-three: *Provided,* That in case of the marriage or death of the said Mary Deany, the pension hereby granted to her shall be paid to her two children, or the survivor of them under sixteen years of age.
