Chap. XLIX.— An Act *for the Relief of James Glynn.* Feb. 3, 1853. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That James Glynn, a commander Settlement of accounts of James Glynn.in the United States navy, shall be entitled to a credit, in the settlement at the Treasury of his accounts as acting purser of the sloop-of-war Preble, while cruising on the western coast of Mexico, in the year eighteen hundred and fifty, of the sum of thirteen hundred and thirty-eight dollars and seventy cents, the said allowance to be in full for losses of public money and other property stolen or embezzled from said vessel during his temporary absence therefrom on official duty.
