XCV.— An Act *to authorize the issue of a Register to the Brig Amelia, by the name of Abby Frances.* July 17, 1854. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That there be issued under the Register to be issued to the Amelia, by the name of Abby Frances. Proviso.direction of the Secretary of the Treasury, a register to the Russian-built brig Amelia, by the name of Abby Frances, now owned by Charles Parsons, of New Orleans, in the State of Louisiana: *Provided,* It shall be proved to the satisfaction of said Secretary, that the cost of the repairs made in the United States, after the purchase of said vessel by the present owner, is equal to three fourths of the value of said vessel at the time of said repairs.
