Chap. V.— An Act *for the Relief of James A. Fawns.* Dec. 23, 1852. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the accounting officers of Settlement of accounts of Jas. A. Fawns.the Treasury be, and they are hereby directed to adjust and settle the account of James A. Fawns, late acting purser on board the United States brig Bainbridge; allowing to his credit, on the books of the Treasury, the pay and rations of a purser during the time he acted as such. Approved, December 23, 1852.
