Chap. LIII.— An Act *for the Relief of Grafton Baker.* May 3, 1854. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the Grafton Bakor to be paid $366,50.Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to Grafton Baker the sum of three hundred and sixty-six dollars and fifty cents; which payment shall be in full for services rendered and expenses incurred by said Baker, as bearer of despatches from the Governor of New Mexico to the President of the United States, in the year eighteen hundred and fifty-two.
