Chap. CVII.— An Act to Increase the Salaries of Executive and Judiciary Officers in Oregon, New Mexico, Washington, Utah, and Minnesota. July 27, 1854. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, Salary of chief justice and associate judges of certain territories. That the annual salaries of the Chief Justices and Associate Judges of the Territories of Oregon, Washington, Utah, and New Mexico, be, and the same are hereby, increased to the sum of two thousand five hundred dollars each; and thatSalary of governor of New Mexico. the salary of the Governor of New Mexico be, and the same is hereby,312THIRTY-THIRD CONGRESS.

Sec. 2. Salary of chief justice and associate judges of Minnesota.*And be it further enacted*, That the annual salaries of the Chief Justice and Associate Judges of the Territory of Minnesota be increased to two thousand dollars.
