Chap. CVI.— An Act *for the Erection of a Military Post on or near the Pembina River in the Territory of Minnesota, and for other Purposes.* Feb. 17, 1855. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the sum of five thousand Military posts in Minnesota.dollars, out of any money in the treasury, not otherwise appropriated, be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of War, for the erection of a military post in the Territory of Minnesota, on the line of forty-nine degrees north latitude, on or near the Pembina River.
Sec. 2. *And be it further enacted,* That for the establishment of military Military posts in Kansas and Nebraska.posts in the Territories of Kansas and Nebraska, at such points in said territories as the Secretary of War may designate, the sum of ten thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated.
