CLXVII.— An Act *to provide for the erection of Public Buildings in the Territory of Kansas.* March 3, 1855. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the sum of twenty-five thousand dollars be, and the same hereby is, appropriated, out of any Appropriation for public buildings in Kansas.money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the continuation and erection of public buildings for the use of the legislature of the Territory of Kansas, to be expended under the direction of the governor of said territory: *Provided,* Said money, or any part thereof, or of any portion of the money heretofore appropriated for this purpose, shall not be expended until the legislature of said territory shall have fixed by law the permanent seat of government.
