Chap. CLXII.— An Act for the Relief of Mrs. J. Josephine McClellan. March 2, 1855. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, * That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, directed to pay to Mrs. J. JosephinePayment to Mrs. J. J. McClellan, &. McClellan, widow of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel John McClellan, late of the corps of topographical engineers, half the monthly pay to which her said husband was entitled at the time of his death, for five years from the date of the death of her said husband; and in case of her death or intermarriage before the expiration of the said term of five years, then the 862 THIRTY-THIRD CONGRESS.
Sess. II. Ch. 163, 164, 165, 176,177. 1855. benefits of this act shall inure, for the balance of said term, to his child or children under sixteen years of age. Approved, March 2, 1855.
