Chap. CCXXII.— An Act *for the Relief of James M. Lewis.* Aug. 3, 1854. *Be it enacted by the Senate and Howe of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Secretary of the James M. Lewis to be placed on the pension roll, at $8 per month, from Jan. 1, 1850, for life.Interior be, and he is hereby, directed to place the name of James M. Lewis, late of the State of Tennessee, now of the State of California, on the pension rolls of the United States, at the rate of eight dollars per month, to commence on the first day of January, eighteen hundred and fifty, and to continue during his natural life. Approved, August 3, 1854.
