Chap. CCXVII.— An Act *for the Relief of George Mattingly* Aug. 3, 1854. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Commissioner of Commissioner of public buildings to convey to said Mattingly, all the right, &c. of the U. States to square 495 in plat of city of Washington. Proviso.Public Buildings be, and he hereby is, authorized to convey to George Mattingly and his heirs, all the light, title, interest, and estate of the United States of America in and to square numbered four hundred and ninety-five on the plat of the city of Washington: *Provided,* The said Mattingly, or his heirs, shall first produce to the said Commissioner of Public Buildings a certificate of the Secretary of the Treasury that he has paid to him, for the United States, the sum of three hundred and eighty-seven dollars and eleven cents, with interest thereon from the twenty-sixth day of July, eighteen hundred and forty-four.
