Chap. CCLIV.— An Act *for the Relief of the Legal Representatives of Charles Pavie.* Aug. 5, 1854. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,* That the Commissioner of Error in land claim of Charles Pavie to be corrected.the General Land-Office be, and he is hereby, authorized and required to correct the error in the description of the claim for land by Charles Pavie (number thirty-seven) in the report of the register and receiver of the land-office at Ouachita, Lousiana, dated July twenty-fourth, eighteen hundred and thirty-seven, and confirmed by the act entitled “An act confirming certain land claims in Louisiana,” approved July sixth, 1842, ch. 50.eighteen hundred and forty-two, and to have the same located on the south or right side of Red River descending, not exceeding the quantity claimed and confirmed as aforesaid: *Provided,* That this is only to operate as a quitclaim on the part of the United States.
