Chap. CCIII.— An Act *to provide Accommodations for the United States Courts in the City of Jackson, Mississippi.* March 3, 1855. *Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled*, That the Secretary of the Interior Court rooms at Jackson, Miss.is hereby authorized to contract with the public authorities of the city of Jackson, Mississippi, for the permanent use of rooms for the courts of the United States, in the new city hall now in process of construction in that city.
And when the said secretary shall be satisfied that the apartments are suitable for the purpose, and have been properly secured to the government, he shall pay out of the treasury, any sum of money not exceeding twenty-thousand dollars, which he shall deem to be the value of such apartments. Approved, March 3, 1855.
