## SEC. 6 EFFECTIVE DATE ###
(a)Presidential Appointments Not Subject to Senate Approval **[**[6 U.S.C. 113 note](/us/usc/t6/s113)**]** The amendments made by section 2 shall take effect 60 days after the date of enactment of this Act and apply to appointments made on and after that effective date, including any nomination pending in the Senate on that date. ###
(b)Director of the Census and Working Group **[**[13 U.S.C. 21 note](/us/usc/t13/s21)**]** The provisions of sections 3 and 4 (including any amendments made by those sections) shall take effect on the date of enactment of this Act.
