## SEC. 1129 PROTECTIONS FOR THE COMMISSIONED CORPS OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE ACT ###
(a)In General Section 221(a) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 213a(a)) is amended by adding at the end the following: > > #### “(18) > > Section 1034, Protected Communications; Prohibition of Retaliatory Personnel Actions.” > . ###
(b)Conforming Amendment Section 221(b) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 213a(b)) is amended by adding at the end the following: “For purposes of paragraph
(18)of subsection (a), the term ‘Inspector General’ in section 1034 of such title 10 shall mean the Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services.”.
