## SEC. 25 EFFECTIVE DATE **[**[12 U.S.C. 635 note](/us/usc/t12/s635)**]** Except as provided in section 9(b), this Act and the amendments made by this Act shall take effect on the earlier of June 1, 2012, or the date of the enactment of this Act.
