## SEC. 820 STUDY OF AERONAUTICAL MOBILE TELEMETRY Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration, in consultation with other Federal agencies, shall submit to the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate and the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology and the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives a report that identifies— ####

(1)the current and anticipated, with respect to the next decade, need by civil aviation, including equipment manufacturers, for aeronautical mobile telemetry services; and ####

(2)the potential impact to the aerospace industry of the introduction of a new radio service that operates in the same spectrum allocated to the aeronautical mobile telemetry service.
