## SEC. 407 LEADERSHIP AND LOCATION OF CERTAIN OFFICES AND OFFICIALS ###
(a)National Counter Proliferation Center Section 119A(a) of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 404o-1(a)) is amended— ####
(1)by striking “Not later than 18 months after the date of the enactment of the National Security Intelligence Reform Act of 2004, the” and inserting “(1) The”; and ####
(2)by adding at the end the following new paragraphs: > > #### “(2) > > The head of the National Counter Proliferation Center shall be the Director of the National Counter Proliferation Center, who shall be appointed by the Director of National Intelligence. > > > #### “(3) > > The National Counter Proliferation Center shall be located within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.” > . ###
(b)Officers Section 103(c) of that Act (50 U.S.C. 403-3(c)) is amended— ####
(1)by redesignating paragraph
(9)as paragraph (14); and ####
(2)by inserting after paragraph
(8)the following new paragraphs: > > #### “(9) > > The Chief Information Officer of the Intelligence Community. > > > #### “(10) > > The Inspector General of the Intelligence Community. > > > #### “(11) > > The Director of the National Counterterrorism Center. > > > #### “(12) > > The Director of the National Counter Proliferation Center. > > > #### “(13) > > The Chief Financial Officer of the Intelligence Community.” > .
