## SEC. 135 APPORTIONMENT BASED ON FIXED GUIDEWAY FACTORS Section 5337 of title 49, United States Code, is amended— ####

(1)in subsection (a), in the matter preceding paragraph (1), by striking “2011” and inserting “2012”; and ####

(2)by adding at the end the following: > > ### “(g) Special Rule for October 1, 2011, Through March 31, 2012 > > The Secretary shall apportion amounts made available for fixed guideway modernization under section 5309 for the period beginning on October 1, 2011, and ending on March 31, 2012, in accordance with subsection (a), except that the Secretary shall apportion 50 percent of each dollar amount specified in subsection (a).” > .
