## SEC. 1844 ###

(a)Notwithstanding section 1101, the level for “Department of Education, Institute of Education Sciences” shall be $610,006,000 and shall remain available through September 30, 2012. ###

(b)Notwithstanding subsections

(d)and

(e)of section 174 of the Education Sciences Reform Act of 2002, up to $57,650,000 may be used to extend any contracts to administer the Regional Educational Laboratories that were in effect on, or entered into, after January 1, 2011, for a period of not more than 12 months.
