## SEC. 3402 TEMPORARY ADJUSTMENT TO THE CALCULATION OF PART B PREMIUMS Section 1839(i) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395r(i)) is amended— ####
(1)in paragraph (2), in the matter preceding subparagraph (A), by inserting “subject to paragraph (6),” after “subsection,”; ####
(2)in paragraph (3)(A)(i), by striking “The applicable” and inserting “Subject to paragraph (6), the applicable”; ####
(3)by redesignating paragraph
(6)as paragraph (7); and ####
(4)by inserting after paragraph
(5)the following new paragraph: > > #### “(6) Temporary adjustment to income thresholds > > Notwithstanding any other provision of this subsection, during the period beginning on January 1, 2011, and ending on December 31, 2019— > > > ##### “(A) > > the threshold amount otherwise applicable under paragraph
(2)shall be equal to such amount for 2010; and > > > ##### “(B) > > the dollar amounts otherwise applicable under paragraph (3)(C)(i) shall be equal to such dollar amounts for 2010.” > .
