## SEC. 2030 INTERAGENCY AND INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT AUTHORITY Section 234 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1996 (33 U.S.C. 2323a) is amended— ####
(1)by striking subsection
(a)and inserting the following: > > ### “(a) In General > > The Secretary may engage in activities (including contracting) in support of other Federal agencies, international organizations, or foreign governments to address problems of national significance to the United States.” > ; ####
(2)in subsection
(b)by striking “Secretary of State” and inserting “Department of State”; and ####
(3)in subsection (d)— #####
(A)by striking “$250,000 for fiscal year 2001” and inserting “$1,000,000 for fiscal year 2008”; and #####
(B)by striking “or international organizations” and inserting “, international organizations, or foreign governments”.
