## SEC. 11 EFFECTIVE DATE **[**[29 U.S.C. 2101 note](/us/usc/t29/s2101)**]** This Act shall take effect on the date which is 6 months after the date of enactment of this Act, except that the authority of the Secretary of Labor under section 8 is effective upon enactment.
