(2)Consultation **[**[22 U.S.C. 2651a note](/us/usc/t22/s2651a)**]** The Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, in carrying out the responsibilities described in section 1(b)(3) of such Act (as amended by paragraph (1)), shall consult with public diplomacy officers operating at United States overseas posts and in the regional bureaus of the Department of State.
