## SEC. 561 PUBLIC STORES **[**[19 U.S.C. 1561](/us/usc/t19/s1561)**]** Any premise owned or leased by the Government and used for the storage of merchandise for the final release of which from customs custody a permit has not been issued shall be known as a “public store.”
