(b)Effective Dates ####
(1)**[**[20 U.S.C. 1087–52 note](/us/usc/t20/s1087–52)**]** Section 442 of the Act shall apply with respect to the allocation of funds for academic year 1988–1989 and succeeding academic years. ####
(2)**[**[20 U.S.C. 1087–53 note](/us/usc/t20/s1087–53)**]** Sections 443(c), 446, and 447 of the Act as amended by this section shall apply to periods of enrollment beginning on or after July 1, 1987. * * * * * * *
