## SEC. 107 EFFECTIVE DATE ###

(a)In General **[**[49 U.S.C. 104 note](/us/usc/t49/s104)**]** This Act shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act; except that the amendments made by section 101 shall take effect on January 1, 2000. ###

(b)Budget Submissions **[**[31 U.S.C. 1105 note](/us/usc/t31/s1105)**]** The President's budget submission for fiscal year 2001 and each fiscal year thereafter shall reflect the establishment of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration in accordance with this Act. # TITLE II COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLE AND DRIVER SAFETY * * * * * * *
