## Sec. 404 confirmation of the director of the energy policy office The director of the Energy Policy Office in the Executive Office of the President shall be appointed by the President, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate: *Provided, *That if any individual who is serving in this office on the date of enactment of this Act is nominated for such position, he may continue to act unless and until such nomination shall be disapproved by the Senate. **[**[15 U.S.C. 761 note](/us/usc/t15/s761)**]**
