--- schema: uslm source_file: COMPS-305.xml --- * * * * * * * ARCHITECT OF THE CAPITOLcapitol buildings and groundsSenate Office Building: For maintenance, miscellaneous items and supplies, including furniture, furnishings, and equipment, and for labor and material incident thereto, and repairs thereof; and for personal and other services for the care and operation of the Senate Office Building, under the direction and supervision of the Senate Committee on Rules, including four female attendants in charge of ladies' retiring rooms at $1,500 each; in all, $369,574, of which amount $27,900 shall be immediately available: *Provided, *40 U.S.C. 174b That structural changes in the Senate Office Building shall only be made with the approval of the Architect of the Capitol: *Provided further, *That not to exceed $4,000 of the unexpended balance of the appropriation for this purpose contained in the Legislative Branch Appropriation Act, 1941, is hereby continued available until June 30, 1942, for the purchase of rugs and carpets.
