## SEC. 216 DREDGED MATERIAL DISPOSAL AREAS ###
(a)Study The Secretary shall conduct a study on the need for changes in Federal law and policy with respect to dredged material disposal areas for the construction and maintenance of harbors and inland harbors by the Secretary. As part of the study, the Secretary shall evaluate the need for any changes in Federal and non-Federal cost sharing for such areas and harbor projects, including sources of funding. ###
(b)Report Not later than 18 months after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall transmit to the Committee on Public Works and Transportation of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Environment and Public Works of the Senate a report on the results of the study conducted under subsection (a), together with recommendations of the Secretary. **[**[33 U.S.C. 2211 note](/us/usc/t33/s2211)**]** * * * * * * *
