## Sec. 107 temporary reduction in national trigger Section 203(d) of the Federal-State Extended Unemployment Compensation Act of 1970 is amended by adding at the end thereof the following new sentence: “Effective with respect to compensation for weeks of unemployment beginning before December 31, 1976, and beginning after December 31, 1974 (or, if later, the date established pursuant to State law), the State may by law provide that the determination of whether there has been a national ‘on’ or ‘off’ indicator beginning or ending any extended benefit period shall be made under this subsection as if the phrase ‘4.5 per centum’, contained in paragraphs
(1)and (2), read ‘4 per centum’.”
