## SEC. 261 SERVICES FOR NATIVE AMERICANS From amounts reserved under section 221(a)(1)(A) for any fiscal year the Director shall award grants to Indian tribes and to organizations that primarily serve and represent Native Hawaiians (as the term is defined in section 6207 of the Native Hawaiian Education Act) to enable such tribes and organizations to carry out the activities described in section 231. **[**[20 U.S.C. 9161](/us/usc/t20/s9161)**]** Enacted September 30, 1996, P.L. 104–208, title VII, sec. 702, 110 Stat. 3009–302; amended Dec. 1, 1997, P.L. 105–128, sec. 6, 111 Stat. 2549;
